Rare 1941 Negro League - Bill S. Perkins Signed Contract for Mayaguez Indians Liga Semi Professional De Baseball De Puerto Rico

While Bill Perkins was with the Pittsburgh Crawfords of the Negro Leagues he was Josh Gibson' backup catcher. He also played in two East-West All-Star Games in 1934 and 1940. This is his signed contract for Mayaguez Indians of the Liga Semi Professional team in Puerto Rico. 

The contract is for the 1941 season for the Mayaguez Indians. Perkins was to get $50 a week for his play. It was signed by Perkins on the left open page in black pen. The right open page has the Constitution of the League. Back page has league stamping and President's signature.
