2002 St. Louis Cardinals - Albert Pujols Game-Worn Jersey (Feat. Darryl Kile & John Buck Patches)
April 22, 2014 , the mighty Albert Pujols smacked his 499th and 500th home run off of the Washington Nationals pitcher, Taylor Jordan at the Nats Park. He was the 26th player to reach 500 home run mark. He was also the first to hit career home runs 499 and 500 in the same game. A side note is that he also hit his 400th at the same park.
Presented is an Albert Pujols game worn jersey from his 2002 sophomore season. It is a grey button-down with "Cardinals" across the front chest - a "5" sewn on below it. The verso has "PUJOLS" arched across the top nameplate and a "5" below.
The Rawlings MLB Authentic manufaturer's tag is sewn in interior tail - flap tags show the size "48" and "SET 1 - 2002". A "DK 57" patch adorns the left sleeve in memorandem of Darryl Kile along with a "JFB" patch on the adjacent one for broadcaster John Buck. The jersey shows moderate use overall with fraying on the identifiers and soft tagging.
