1986-87 Denver Nuggets - Alex English Game-Worn Jersey
Alex English was an eight-time All-Star during his career. He played for the Bucks and the Pacers but really exploded with the Denver Nuggets. During his career, he poured in 25,613 points for an average of 21.5 per game average. He was smooth as silk and a pleasure to watch as he consistently schooled defenders from the wing, low post, or on the break.
This game worn jersey of Alex English was worn during the 1986-87 season. The front tail has two tags: “GART BROS [Denver distributor] – SAND-KNIT” & “MEDALIST - SAND-KNIT 46 [size]”. It shows good wear with thread fraying on the identifiers etc.
The body is fashioned with dual mesh portions connected by six-stripe, multi-colored knit insert which traverses the front and back mid-section. An awesome Colorado mountain silhouette is sewn atop the front section while his number "2" is sewn atop the verso section in blue-on-white tackle twill. The NOB is sewn onto an arched plate in single-color blue, while the front "2 & Nugget" are two-color gold on blue. Overall, a classic desirable Nuggets gamer.
