1984 George Brett Game-Used, Signed P89 Louisville Slugger Bat

George Brett was long admired as an intensely focused player. He worked his way to the top of the major league food chain by gaining an AL MVP Award in 1980. A bit later, 1984, he used this Louisville Slugger model P89 bat. The uncracked bat measures 34 1/2” and weighs 32 oz. It shows mild use with cleat marks, blue marks, rack marks and a reserved area of pine tar discoloration on the upper barrel. Knob end/barrel end are not marked. As a highlight, Brett signed the barrel in blue felt tip ("9").
