Taking place at Madison Square Garden, the promotional Golden Glove incribed "World's Heavywight Championship, March 8, 1971 Madison Square Garden, Joe Frazier vs. Muhammad Ali. Everlastingly yours" commemorates the epic event. This glove was given to Izzy Marion a high profile ring-side attendee of the event as a keepsake. The Everlast golden glove is 10 oz, and is approximately 11x7 in dimension.

The item originates from the collection of Izzy Marion. Izzy was a well know hairdresser and resturant owner (The Blackwell) here in Las Vegas. At one time he was married to singer Connie Francis. He woked with many athletes, celebrities and performers in town. He also was an avid boxing fan and attended many of the big events like the MGD event of Ali vs. Frazier.
