1964 Political Artist - William Kent LE Artist Proof Flag Artprint John F. Kennedy, Jr. JFK, Jr.

William Kent was most well known for his wood sculptures however he was an innovative printmaker as well. He created "broadside commentaries" on political issues and captured historic moments in his art. Presented here is one of his 1963 prints showing John-John saluting the Presidential funeral procession along with a blue/white Texas star. The delicate artwork also with a Texas star highlighting it was titled "First Tri-Color Lonestar Flag of Texas - 1835"  The delicate artwork (approx. 13x14) has masking tape holding it to a backing.This edition was designated an "artist proof" in pencil along the border with notes as well as Kent's signature (in pencil).
