Rare 1967-68 Darel Carrier ABA Kentucky Colonels Game-Worn Shorts, 1st Season of ABA

Very desirable ABA inaugural season Kentucky Colonels game shorts worn by Darel Carrier, a potent three-time ABA All-Star with the Colonels (1968, '69, '70), who teamed with fellow All-Star Louie Dampier to form the American Basketball League's most explosive backcourt - in each of the league's first three seasons, both averaged at least 20 points per game. These rare vintage kelly green shorts feature all correct styling points and identifiers for season, player and team, including proper "Rawlings [size] 34" tags sewn in waist with correct care tags sewn adjacent. Carrier's uniform number "35" is markered on the instructions tag. Anything ABA and this early is, in a word - rare. Great representation of this colorful, groundbreaking team and league.

* [Dampier's shorts are also offered in this catalog]
