Post WWII Late 1940's Vintage Coca-Cola Cardboard Oversized Sign w/ Girl
Post-WWII Cardboard Coca-Cola Sign. After WWII, signs had to be made more inexpensively. One option used by Coca-Cola were cardboard signs. We believe this Coca-Cola sign to have been made in the 1940's. The use of girls was prevelant during WWII era and it was carried over until the late '40's. Coca-Cola collecting is part of the American History. Coca-Cola art and advertising has evolved and the design is classic that has captivated the collector and artist alike. This 9ft x 3 ft (approximate) Drink Coca-Cola Cardboard sign features a girl drinking coke. Oversized sign is still incredibly bold and vibrant but the cardboard has about a 6 inch crack on the back lower middle. There is cracking on the edges and flaking throughout the back of the sign. This is an all original sign. This has been indoors for over 15-20 years.
