Late 1970s Tampa Bay Bucaneers - Leroy Selmon Rookie Game-Worn / Used Helmet (Incl. Marinovich Family LOA)

This helmet was obtained directly from the Todd Marinovich Collection.  It was taken from the Orange County Sports Museum, where it had been displayed for years.  American Memorabilia physically picked up the entire collection and was present when it was obtained.  American Memorabilia dealt with the Marinovich family directly, as well as, a represenative.

The Todd Marinovich story has continued to be a fascinating tale for young players to take notes on. It’s hard to imagine a more polarizing figure from the sports world who in the midst of success became disengaged from life through addiction. Todd has since lived on from his younger USC and Raider days to tell his story within the recovery process in order to help others.  Offered from Todd’s personal collection are cherished pieces from his young successful career.  Also being offered are many historic mementos from his father’s and grandfather's collection. Marv is beloved among USC alumni and a pioneer in fitness training for athletes. Todd's grandfather, known as "The Chief" was also a well respected peer within the USC family.
