1982 Milwaukee Brewers "World Series Champions" Team-Signed Official WS Ball (23) incl Yount, Sutton, Fingers w/PSA-DNA LOA
Having never advanced to postseason play in their 13-year history (including one campaign as the Seattle Pilots), the 1982 Milwaukee Brewers finally put it all together. Entering the final weekend with a seemingly safe three-game lead over Baltimore, the Brewers dropped a twin bill to the Orioles on Friday and were felled in a single game on Saturday in falling into a tie with the surging O's. But MVP Robin Yount helped bail the Brewers out on the final day of the regular season and Milwaukee went on the capture the American League pennant, as well. Here is an unused OWS (Kahn) ball bearing twenty-three signatures of members of the 1982 A.L. Champion Milwaukee Brewers team. Scriptings have been placed in black ballpoint and project "8" strength and clarity. Includes: Bernard, Brouhard, Caldwell, Edwards, Fingers, Haas, Hansen (coach), Howell, Kuenn (Mgr, s/s), McLish (coach), Medich, Money, Picciolo, Simmons, Slaton, Thomas, Vuckovich, Warner (coach), Yost, Yount and one other. Ball is white with a few spots of light discoloration. LOA from PSA/DNA.
