1996-97 Los Angeles Lakers - Corie Blount Signed & Inscribed( # 43 LA) Game-Worn Throw Back NBA 50th Anniversary Blue Champion Exclusively Tag Jeraey

1993 first-round draft pick played parts of four seasons with the Lakers after the Chicago Bulls sold his rights to the team during the 1995 off-season. A star power forward at Cincinnati, Blount played primarily off the bench for the Lakers but started in 18 games during the 1996-97 season. He was waived by the Lakers in March 1999 before signing with the Cleveland Cavaliers. The Monrovia native retired from basketball in 2004. Blount appeared as himself in the 1996 basketball-themed film “Eddie” starring Whoopi Goldberg. In 2009, Blount pleaded guilty to two felony drug possession charges and was sentenced to one year in prison.
This Corie Blount game worn jersey is from that season and are unique because it is a throw back to their Minnesota roots. Overall shows some use with thread fraying on the identifiers. Size 44 Champion tag in the tail beside a NBA 50th Anniversary Exclusive tag - 1996-97 with golden NBA logo on the chest
