Sanny Davis.Jr Autographed 25th Season Warwick Musical Theatre Program With Ticket

Starting his career at age 3, Sammy Davis Jr. became an overnight national star after performing at club Ciro after the Academy Awards in 1951. Losing an eye in a 1954 car accident but never losing his focus as a singer, dancer, actor and musician Sammy Davis Jr. and hosting his own TV variety show, he became known as Mister Show Business becoming a regularly appearing star in Las Vegas. While playing golf with Jack Benny and asked what his handicap was, he replied "Handicap? Talk about handicap—I'm a one-eyed Negro Jew." All kidding aside, this Warwick Musical Theatre program showing a grinning Sammy Davis Jr. on front cover, ready to hug the world and inscribed "Best Sammy Davis Jr." It captures his incredible energy and personality with the same intensity that he gave a startled President Richard Nixon a hug on national television in the 70's. Signature grades 9-10
