Scarce Late 40's Ted Williams Wilson Gloves Easel Back Advertising Sign

After 1945, Baseball legend Ted Williams became a member of the company's advisory staff and brought an inestimable value to the reputation of Wilson's line of baseball products. This scarce 22 1/2 X 20 cardboard sign features Ted Williams wearing a Wilson glove.
Sign is vibrant green, red and yellow with a cardboard easelback fully intact. There is a crease in at the bottom of the sign across its entiriety and the righthand corner exhibits slight paint peeling and curling. There is a crease across the top of Ted's brow and cap, which does not distract from its vibrancy.
"in the Major Leagues It's Wilson? Like many Major Leagues, I depend on my Wilson glove for feilding confidence. Ted Williams Star outfielder of the Boston Red Sox and member o the Wilson advisory Staff."
