In 1946, the Boston Red Sox won their sixth American League championship. The lost to the Cardinals in the World Series due to Enos Slaughter's "Mad Dash" in the eight inning of the seventh (final) game.
Presented is a pennant in commemoration of the Red Sox's 1946 AL Championship. The felt pennant is red with white accents. Team members names are on the left side with a logo with BOSTON stretching across the full size body 29-1/2". The highlight is that it was signed by five members of the team in blue felt tip pen - Ted Williams, Dom DiMaggio, Bobby Doerr, Johnny Pesky and Eddie Pellagrini.
