A John McEnroe Game Used & Signed Dunlop Wooden Tennis Racquet.
A John McEnroe Game-Used & Signed Dunlop Wooden Tennis Racquet. This racquet was owned and used by John McEnroe during matchplay, and was signed in black premanent marker. This racquet was personally given by Mr. McEnroe to his long-time bodyguard as a gift. It is unknown what year/season this racquet was used by Mr. McEnroe. Upon close inspection, you will come to find the following signs of use throughout: The leather grip shows heavy wear: the gold embossed Dunlop logo has worn off predominantly on the lower portion of the grip. The grip is almost entirely in tact, but does show it's age. The wooden frame is in very good shape for it's age, but there is a normal amount of nicks, chips and wear throughout as is to be expected. The strings are intact. The Dunlop manufacturer logos are all still visible, with some minor paint peeling at the top of the racquet and some chips in the white paint at the lower portion of the head. Overall, the racquet shows it's age, but is in superb condition overall.
