2003 Texas Rangers Rafael Palmeiro Signed Game-Used Jersey
Here offered is a 2003 Texas Rangers Rafael Palmeiro signed game-used jersey.
In 2003, Rafael Palmeiro became the 19th player in baseball history to reach the legendary "500 Home Run" plateau. Offered is a Texas Rangers home jersey worn by Palmeiro when he hit his 492nd career homer during that historic season. Unfortunately, his solo blast accounted for the Rangers' only run that day, as A's left-hander Barry Zito defeated the Rangers 2-1.
The white knit jersey is lettered "Rangers" across the front, with the number "25" appearing on both the left breast and reverse. "Palmeiro" is lettered above the number on the reverse. All letteres and numbers are in blue with red trim. A Texas "Flag" patch appears on the left sleeve. Situated on the left front tail are a " Majestic Athletic MLB Authentic Collection" label, a flag tag reading "Set 3 2003," and a "50" size tag.
Palmeiro has inscribed the jersey "Rafael Palmeiro - H.R. 492 - 4/08/03 - Barry Zito" in blue Sharpie ("10") along the reverse. The jersey is original and unaltered, displaying light wear throughout its surface, including some minor staining along the right front shoulder and sleeve. It is accompanied by an LOA (signed by Palmeiro) and corresponding hologram label (affixed to the jersey's reverse) from Palmeiro's exclusive marketing agent, Authentic Sports Investments, Additional LOA from James Spence & PSA DNA.
